THE LOCATION
The hotel is in the heart of the V&A Waterfront and has views over the marina. Nearby attractions include the Two Oceans Aquarium and the Victoria Wharf shopping centre.
A short walk away, you'll find Nelson Mandela Gateway, the departure point for boat trips to Robben Island.
By plane: London to Cape Town takes 12 hours, after which, it's a 20-minute drive to the hotel. Free on-site parking available. Book flights to Cape Town.
CHARACTER & STYLE
This is an exuberantly-designed hotel, from the wood-panelled lifts that transport guests to a bright red reception desk on the sixth floor, to the lobby with its artworks and sheepskin-covered throne chair. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the hotel with natural light.

You'll find superb South African food and wine at the Willaston Bar and Granary Café. Cocktails feature unusual ingredients such as the Kalahari truffle and rooibos syrup. We loved the Cape Malay cauliflower with sultanas and capers followed by springbok loin with poached pear.
The Granary Café: bar and dining room, contemporary cuisine. All-day dining, open daily.
The Silo Rooftop: rooftop bar and terrace. Serving poke bowls, salads and sharing platters. Open daily from 12pm.
