CHARACTER & STYLE

This is a striking nine-storey building with an eye-catching mirrored overhang. The wild Pop Art interiors are by Karim Rashid; reception is a quirky purple and white pod while copious black and white photos of rock stars reveal a strong music biz theme.

THE FACILITIES

The ground floor is open plan, integrating reception, a sofa-strewn lounge, a stage for music nights, the circular Envy Bar and colourful Fabrics restaurant. A shop sells snacks and travel essentials, and there's an art gallery, recording studio, gym, two types of sauna and a steam room.

Rooms

Some rooms face a six-lane highway, which is fine if you're only staying a night or two. Some noise from guests partying and playing guitar can reach the boldly coloured rooms. Bathrooms have a rainshower, black tiles and La Bottega toiletries from Italy.

Room types: nhow Room, Premium Room, Junior Suite, nhow Penthouse

Key amenities: ensuite bathroom with La Bottega toiletries, Nespresso machine, entertainment centre, free Wi-Fi

Food & Drink

The drinks menu is lengthy - there's a choice of over 20 cocktails - while the food menu is somewhat shorter, although it includes classics like currywurst as well as plant-based options. The large restaurant is better at weekends when it's busy and there's a lively ambience.

nhow Restaurant: bright dining room, quirky décor. Buffet breakfast served daily.

Envy Bar: lobby bar with outdoor terrace. Serving snacks and light bites. Open daily, 11am-2am.
