CHARACTER & STYLE

This eight-storey building with a stately feel was built as a hotel in 1927 - however, it has recently underwend a renovation and reopened in September 2021. The lobby-lounge has the look of a library with its bookcases and fireplace, but is brought bang up to date through the oversize chess pieces and chandeliers wrapped in gauze.

THE FACILITIES

While there's no gym or spa, most guests use the hotel as a base for work and/or play - and free newspapers are available. The lobby-lounge has a large table perfect for co-working and concierge service is on hand for recommendations and reservations.
