Meet the team: Pippa

Managing the marketing team at Tripsmiths is a pretty perfect fit for someone who loves travel as much as Pippa does. Over the years, she's backpacked around South East Asia and Central America, worked for a horse safari company in Botswana, and even spent a season in Austria as a chalet host in a ski resort. She's been working in travel for over seven years now and when she's not dreaming up marketing campaigns, she's usually planning her next trip or reminiscing about past adventures.

Which destination is on your bucket list?

India - It's been at the top of my bucket list for a long time. I'd love to fully immerse myself in the culture, explore the Himalayas, visit the Andaman Islands and experience the Golden Triangle - and of course eat my way around the country, trying as much incredible food as possible!

Where is your favourite destination?

Italy, you can't beat the delicious food, abundant history and passionate people.

Which TS tour would you recommend?

What has been your favourite bucket list experience?

Travelling through Central America, I loved seeing how different each country was from the bustling cities and incredible marine life in Mexico to the lush green landscapes and active volcanoes in Guatemala, there was so much to see and do.

What's your most memorable travel experience?

I was lucky enough to go on the British Pullman with Tripsmiths, and the service really is unbeatable. From the moment you board the train you are treated like royalty, the food is exquisite and it is such a lovely way to see the British countryside. A day to remember!

Which TS tour would you most like to go on?

The Glacier Express. The itinerary is packed with great experiences, you travel via Eurostar and avoid the need to go to an airport and board a plane which I love. And of course, the opportunity to experience the Glacier Express would be magical.
