From great rail journeys to scenic cruises, browse our no-fly collection

Join a unique journey through Scotland's rugged west coast, tracing the story of the Commandos in the company of former Commando, Monty Halls. This special tour has been personally designed by Monty alongside our expert team, offering privileged access, exclusive experiences and expert insights throughout. You will stay at the historic Kinlochmoidart Estate, where you will enjoy drinks with the Laird, also a former Commando, on your first night.

Throughout the tour, Monty will bring history vividly to life, drawing on his background as a Royal Marines officer and expedition leader. From the haunting shores of Commando Beach to the rarely visited Killing House, you will explore the very landscapes where elite forces trained, enriched by Monty's personal insights and evening talks. Look forward to many unique experiences, including a beach barbecue, a wildlife boat expedition in search of sea eagles, and a private viewing of an unrivalled personal collection of Commando Daggers.

Blending military history, wild landscapes, and exceptional access, this is far more than a tour; it is an invitation into a hidden world, shared alongside one of Britain's most engaging storytellers. You will also receive a copy of Monty's upcoming book, Churchill's Killing House, which reveals the planning, execution, and legacy of these elite operations.

Kinlochmoidart Estate

0
Lochailort, United Kingdom

Set at the head of Loch Moidart, forty miles west of Fort William, Kinlochmoidart Estate is surrounded by spectacular views of sea, hill and coastal oak woodlands, also known as Scotland’s Atlantic rainforest. Built in 1884, this Scots baronial mansion is one of the few remaining original works of the renowned architect, William Lieper. Four generations later, the Stewart family has converted the house whilst taking great care to restore the original Victorian interior to its former splendour, maintaining its character and fundamental features.
