You'll arrive at Wood Hall on Friday evening, where you'll be welcomed with a glass of fizz as you take in your elegant surroundings.
As you mingle with fellow guests at the drinks reception, you'll have your first chance to work out who the characters are in your thrilling murder mystery.
Later on, sit down to a delicious three-course dinner, during which, a murder will be committed. The police will arrive to begin their investigations. This is when you become a sleuth. You'll have an advantage over the police, as you've already met and got to know the main suspects.
After some sleuthing, retire to your elegant room for a restful night's sleep before the activities continue tomorrow.
After breakfast on Saturday, the police will set up an Incident Room, where vital evidence will be exhibited, and this will remain open for the rest of the weekend. You will be free in the morning to either enjoy the facilities of the hotel, or the surrounding area or, if you prefer, to pursue your enquiries. If you do happen to meet the actors at the local shops or in the hotel, you can still question them as they will stay in character all weekend.
Everyone meets up for afternoon tea, which gives you more opportunities to discuss your ideas with your fellow sleuths, interrogate the suspects and witness more ghastly goings-on!
On Saturday night, there will be more trials and tribulations ahead, whilst enjoying your sumptuous evening meal and it is your job to solve this mystery!
Following your final breakfast, the police will gather everyone together to explain the motives of the suspects, point out key clues, and, ultimately, reveal the identity of the murderer or murderers.
How good will your sleuthing have been? Will you have disentangled the red herrings from the truth? Will you have hit upon the correct solution to win the coveted Super Sleuth Award?
After your unforgettable murder mystery adventure comes to an end, you'll check out of the hotel and make your way back home with memories of a unique weekend away.

People who want a relaxed country house feel yet within easy reach of city attractions will appreciate this hotel; plus anyone looking for a luxurious stop-over on north-south journeys. We love the mix of old and new with the artwork: old portraits in modern frames, and contemporary sculptures in elegantly proportioned hallways.
We love being able to step out of the front door and go for a walk. There are wellingtons to borrow, too, if you've forgotten walking shoes.
