A perfect long weekend for lovers of nature, this trip combines time in two of Andalucía's loveliest cities with a visit to the spectacular Sierra Andújar National Park, where you'll search for the elusive Iberian lynx.
Your four-night adventure starts in Seville, the birthplace of Flamenco, where you'll get the chance to attend a passionate and intimate performance of this famous Spanish art form.
You'll then make your way to the Sierra de Andújar National Park and spend the next couple of nights in a guest house right in the heart of the park. From here you'll explore the great outdoors, searching for the Iberian lynx, and seeing other species, such as mongoose, wolves, and peregrine falcons as you go.
It's then time to travel back to Seville, stopping in Córdoba on your way, where you'll visit the famous Mezquita, Córdoba's Great Mosque, which was turned into a cathedral in the 13th century.
On arrival in Seville, you'll transfer to your hotel, where you'll meet your tour leader either that evening or the following morning. You'll stay the night at a hotel in the heart of the city, making explorations on foot easy.
Spend the rest of the day finding your bearings and exploring this beautiful city. Seek out a tapas bar to experience the energy and flavours Seville is renowned for.
This evening, you'll enjoy a fiery Flamenco performance, a passionate display of dance and music and one of Andalucía's most famous art forms, please note, this performance could take place on the first or final night of your trip.
Following an early breakfast at your hotel you'll transfer to the jaw-dropping Sierra de Andújar national park.
You'll settle into your accommodation, a welcoming, family-run guest house in the heart of the park, where you'll meet your guide and wildlife expert.
The rest of the day will be spent in the company of your expert guide, searching for the Iberian lynx and other exceptional wildlife, including fallow deer, wild boar, mongoose, and falcons, throughout the national park.
After breakfast at your guest house, you'll head back out into the heavenly landscapes of Sierra de Andújar to spend another day searching for Iberian lynx. You'll hike into the mountains, which are one of the last strongholds of this now endangered wild cat.
Along the way, keep your eyes on the skies and you might spot the Spanish imperial eagle or a black vulture, and on the sides of the rugged mountains you will likely see some Spanish ibex with their impressive horns.
This morning you'll head to a mountain viewpoint in Sierra de Andújar for a final chance to spot the elusive lynx.
After saying goodbye to your guest house and to the park, you'll travel to the beautiful city of Córdoba, where you'll have the chance to explore the city and visit the stunning Mezquita, a grand mosque with distinctive arches which was converted into a Christian cathedral in the 13th century.
After your exploration of Córdoba, you'll transfer back to Seville where the rest of the evening is free to enjoy the city as you wish.
After a final breakfast at your hotel, you'll travel to Seville airport for your flight home.
