Dieppe: Rise of the Commando with Monty Halls

Trace the dramatic story of one of the most daring and costly raids of the Second World War as you follow in the footsteps of the men who landed on the beaches of Dieppe.
You'll be accompanied by renowned broadcaster and former Royal Marines officer Monty Halls, and expert historian Julian Whippy. Bringing to life the events of Operation Jubilee, this five-day tour will focus on the Commandos and specialist forces whose missions achieved critical success against the odds.
The destruction of key coastal batteries by No.4 and No.3 Commando have gone down in history as exemplary Commando raids. You will retrace the route and relive the battles of both groups.
Explore the beaches and battlefields where these events unfolded. From Yellow and Blue Beaches, where fierce resistance was met, to Orange Beach at Varengeville-sur-Mer, site of one of the raid's notable successes. You'll also visit the Commonwealth Cemetery, where time will be spent to reflect on the sacrifices made.
Both Monty and Julian will offer powerful insights and expert commentary throughout. You'll also receive a copy of Monty's upcoming book, Churchill's Killing House, which reveals the planning, execution, and legacy of these elite operations.
