Join a small group of like-minded crafters later this year on a long weekend break. In the company of local artisans, you'll enjoy two sessions (morning or afternoon) making your own Christmas wreath, as well as learning about fused glass, where you'll create a Christmas decoration and tealight holder. No experience is necessary as your experts will guide you through each craft activity, and you'll benefit from their knowledge and skills.
You'll be staying at Longmynd Hotel, which overlooks the Stretton Valley in the Shropshire Hills. The country house hotel will have a dedicated workspace for your Christmas crafting sessions, while all meals will be included during your stay.
There will also be free time to explore the local area - perhaps, you'll visit the attractive market town of Ludlow, or take a drive to Ironbridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The staff at the house can also provide you with routes and maps for walks and hikes.

You will be allocated a morning or afternoon session with our festive craft tutor. All the materials and tuition will be provided for you to make a festive wreath using foliage, dried flowers and seed heads. No experience is necessary as there will be a step-by-step demonstration of each stage.
The rest of your time is free for you to do as you please. You're free to craft from morning 'til night if you wish to bring your own craft project to work on. Or, if you prefer, you could explore the surrounding area with one of our self-guided walks.

*Please note that your fused glass decorations will need to be taken off site to be fired. The finished decorations will then be posted out to you approx. 2-3 weeks later.
