    Today you'll step aboard the Britannic Explorer at London Victoria. Settle into your exquisite private quarters, and relax a while as the train begins its outwards journey.

    You'll soon settle down in one of the elegant dining cars for a sumptuous Cumbrian Afternoon Tea, curated by Chef Simon Rogan, with his own Cumbrian heritage reflected in the menu. Feast on a slice of Kendal mint cake, or some sumptuous Grasmere gingerbread.

    Later on, you'll have some free time to perhaps enjoy a restorative treatment in the Wellness Suite, or a cocktail or two from the botanical-inspired bar.

    As night descends, take your seat for an exquisite dinner, once again crafted by Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan, a true pioneer of the farm-to-fork movement. After dinner, head to the Observation Car, where you can dance the night away to music while sipping a small-batch gin and tonic.

    As you wake up today you'll be greeted by the scenic views of the Forest of Bowland and the enchanting Yorkshire Dales National Park through your window.

    As you travel along Cumbria's southern coast, take in stunning panoramas of the Irish Sea shimmering in the distance. By early afternoon, the train will arrive in Workington - your gateway to the Lake District.

    You'll be chauffeured to the Lingholm Estate, a Grade II listed Victorian mansion where the beloved Beatrix Potter once spent her idyllic summers. Within this idyllic estate, with private quarters open solely to guests of the Britannic Explorer, you can try activities like hiking, open water swimming or meeting the delightful local alpacas

    Reboard the train in Penrith and settle down for another celebration of seasonal British fine dining, followed by lively onboard entertainment with your fellow travellers as the train travels towards the charming rural market town of Appleby.

    This morning you'll tuck into a leisurely brunch in the dining car, along with a freshly poured Bellini.

    Enjoy this peaceful morning journey, perhaps with a game of cards among newfound friends as the train glides over the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct on the famed Settle and Carlisle line.

    Today the train winds gracefully through the breathtaking landscapes of the Peak District, carrying you towards Oxfordshire and the timeless glamour of Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Raymond Blanc's luxurious country retreat and restaurant.

    Awaiting you here is an exquisite gala dinner in the exclusive Le Belle Époque dining room, with views over the 15th-century manor - a night of refined Provençal-inspired indulgence in a beautiful location.

    After the dinner, return to the train to spend your final night aboard, as the train travels through the Cotswolds' patchwork countryside, resting overnight just outside of London.
