CHARACTER & STYLE

Communal areas merge industrial styling with residential scandi-chic: think polished concrete floors, unique lighting and modular seating. Things get quirkier in the bar and restaurant, where the design incorporates butchery motifs (inspired by the neighbourhood's meatpacking heritage) with salami-effect countertops and carpets resembling marbled meats.

THE FACILITIES

Check-in staff are personable, efficient and nicely jokey. There's a fitness room, a ping pong table and hotel bikes for hire (if you're quick off the mark, the first two are free). The hotel's app gets you access to over 5,000 digital newspapers and magazines.

Food & Drink

Mør is a large, open-plan restaurant with exposed piping on the high ceilings and oxblood-red seating, which complements the meaty theme of the menu. As you might expect, steaks are their speciality; they're cooked perfectly to order and served with perfectly crispy chips.
