Learn to cook with fresh fish and other locally-sourced ingredients, while staying in the beautiful harbour town of Padstow during this short break

Stay in Padstow at either the flagship Seafood Restaurant or nearby at St Petroc's during this two-night short break, where the focus is solely on seasonal, fresh food.

You'll be staying in a Cosy room (upgrades are available) where you can sink into a comfortable bed with crisp white linens, and linger in a power shower before drying off with the fluffiest white towels. You can also upgrade your package to include a tasty fish and chip supper.

The highlight will be a one-day cookery class at Rick Stein's Cookery School, where you'll learn to cook with the freshest fish and other locally sourced ingredients. Depending on the date you book, you could receive an introduction to fish and shellfish, French seafood, spend a day inspired by Rick's travels across Spain or South East Asia, or even a day of festive cooking in the Christmas course.

Whichever course you choose to book, you can look forward to cooking demonstrations by the chefs, before recreating the dishes yourself and sampling the fruits of your labour over lunch. You'll also receive a Rick Stein's Cookery School apron and a bottle of the 'Wine of the day', to take away as a memento.

Spend the rest of your time exploring the charms of Padstow. Stroll around the harbour, as boats bob along the bay, or lose yourself amongst the quaint Cornish streets, where independent shops sit alongside traditional pubs and galleries.

A short walk will take you to the most beautiful sweeping sands, where you can take the passenger ferry over to Rock or explore the Coastal-Path.

Located just off from the main haunt of Padstow, St Petroc's provides a slightly quieter coastal retreat. Padstow sits on the west bank of the River Camel, and is famed for its fishing. It's 10 miles from Newquay.
