THE LOCATION

Centrally located, just off Via Torino, the hostel is surrounded by boutiques and family-run restaurants. Head to Corso di Porta Ticinese for its bar scene.

The hostel is a ten-minute walk from the Duomo and a 20-minute walk from the Navigli, Milan's lively canals.

By plane: London to Milan Malpensa takes 1 hour 50 minutes; Manchester to Milan Malpensa takes over 2 hours - after which, it's an hour's drive to the hotel. Book flights to Milan.

CHARACTER & STYLE

There's a real homely feel to this hostel, with its cool, laidback atmosphere. Vibrant décor and vintage knick-knacks are scattered about. There are books and musical instruments for guests to read and play.

THE FACILITIES

There's plenty to do here - from regular events (live music, theatre performances) to board games, table football and even PlayStation. On the communal terrace, you can relax in a hammock. Staff are multilingual and happy to share their city recommendations.

FOOD & DRINK

The bar is lively in the evenings - with staff shaking up cocktils to be served with tapas-style dishes. The pasta dishes cooked by friendly members of staff for hostel guests are delicious, perfect washed down with a glass of red.
