THE LOCATION

You're well positioned to explore the West Argyll coastline from here; take a lobster fishing tour and see if you can catch your dinner; you'll also catch a glimpse of Glenfinnan Viaduct (of Harry Potter fame). There are distilleries, gardens and castles to visit nearby.

The hotel is on a small private island at the mouth of Loch Creran on the west coast of Scotland.

By car: around 3 hours from Edinburgh, 6 hours from Manchester and 9 hours from London. There is free parking on site.

By train: trains run to Connel Ferry from Glasgow and take around 3 hours. The hotel is a 15-minute taxi ride from Connel Ferry station. Book trains to Connel Ferry.
