You're on Crete's north coast; the hotel is between the capital (and port) Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos.
It's just off the main road but buses stop directly outside the hotel, so you can visit Malia, Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos.
By plane: London or Manchester to Heraklion takes around 4 hours, after which, a taxi takes 25 minutes. Free on-site parking available. Book flights to Heraklion.
CHARACTER & STYLE
The hotel combines the use of natural materials, like stone and wood, with industrial-chic décor - steel and big sheets of glass.
Facilities include a choice of restaurants and bars, boutiques, swimming pools and a beach. The gym and spa areas are unusually extensive. The hotel shares some amenities with its sister hotel, Nana Golden Beach, including the kids' club, waterpark and sports facilities.

All suites and villas are open plan, with a sea view and a good level of privacy, and come with their own saltwater pool. We liked that plants and grasses have been installed on the roofs - not only eco-friendly, but an attractive panorama of greenery, with the sea beyond.

Begin the day with breakfast at Carpe Diem. Head to Meat-In Point for quality meat dishes or beachside Eternal Blue for wonderfully fresh fish, seafood and sushi - our sea bass (the catch of the day) was de-boned and served at our table.
Carpe Diem: lavish hot and cold breakfast buffet served daily, 7:30-11am.
Meat-In Point: poolside restaurant, Greek and Mediterranean cuisine.
Eternal Blue: gourmet dining, fresh fish and seafood.
