CHARACTER & STYLE

The colours of the estuary are tastefully brought indoors through lavish fabrics and exquisite décor. Specially-commissioned artwork adorns the walls, such as a series of watercolour paintings of estuary birds by talented local artist Rachel Toll. There are handcrafted sculptures to discover in the meticulously-landscaped grounds and parkland.

Indulge in the cosy lounge and bar, where you can look out over the esturary from the terrace. There's a croquet lawn and pool house, where guests can enjoy lunch and dinner, as well as a bar and an outdoor swimming pool. Food & Drink

With one of Britain's most celebrated and influential chefs at the helm, fine dining is at the heart of Lympstone Manor. Settle into one of the beautiful dining rooms and enjoy Michael Caines' vision of Modern British cuisine, using the bounty of the Exe estuary (we were wowed by the Scottish langoustine with roasted leak and truffle cream) as well as a variety of locally sourced meats and seasonal vegetables. There's also a carefully curated selection of wines from a well-stocked cellar.

The restaurant: one Michelin star. Formal fine dining, a choice of dining rooms, modern British cuisine. Open for lunch Wed-Sun and dinner daily. Tasting menu from £150.
