THE LOCATION

You're close to some of North Devon's most celebrated beaches, including Woolacombe Sands, Saunton Sands and Westwood Ho! near Bideford.

The hotel is located in Barnstaple, a former river port, and is within easy reach of Exmoor National Park.

By car: around 1 hour from Exeter, under 2 hours from Bristol and 3 hours 45 minutes from London. Free on-site parking available.

By train: London Paddington to Barnstaple takes around 4 hours, after which, it's a 10-minute walk to the hotel. Book trains to Barnstaple.

CHARACTER & STYLE

This Grade II-listed Edwardian building used to be a private house, and characterful, historic features such as ornamental ironwork balconies and bay windows have been retained. Décor is luxurious and in keeping with tradition, giving the building a timeless elegance.
